Ok, so I lied. Well I didn’t mean to..but I changed my mind. I was thinking Fresh Cut for the fabrics for November’s Bee Modern quilting bee but despite my utter LOVE for Fresh Cut, it wasn’t what I was looking for. I’m planning on using the blocks to make a king-sized quilt for my bedroom. I wanted deeper/warmer/richer colors…less pastelly (is that a word?!). Anyhoo…These are the fabrics I chose. Mostly from Anna Maria Horner with a few others added in. I can’t wait to see it all together in a quilt! Here are my inspiration pictures:

I’m looking for dresden plates, hexagon flower gardens and wonky stars. The girls in Bee Modern are so talented and I can’t wait to see what they do!
