Love for sewing and books
Love for sewing and books, originally uploaded by SewLaTea.
I’m obsessed with books. Ask anyone. When people ask why, I always tell them I just love to be surrounded by books. Some (like these) are inspiring, some are educational, some are thought-provoking and others are just for fun. I love the emotions that are stirred up inside me when I pick up a book. In the case of the books shown here, I might see a project that I really want to try or a new technique to learn. I love a good challenge and I love to be inspired, which is why I just can’t get enough crafty books. I also own “The Creative Family” by Amanda Blake Soule, aka SouleMama. This one should be stacked right in there. I love Amanda’s ideas 🙂 So what’s on the wish list you might ask? Here are some books of interest: * D.I.Y.: Kids by Ellen Lupton (Author), Julia Lupton (Author * Crafting With Kids: Creative Fun for Children Aged 3-10 by Catherine Woram (Author), Vanessa Davies (Photographer) * Nature’s Art Box: From t-shirts to twig baskets, 65 cool projects for crafty kids to make with natural materials you can find anywhere by Laura C.
